Sephora Annual Sale Picks from a Pro MUA

It’s my favorite time of the year! Sephora is holding their annual savings event October 27th to November 6th. So if you’ve been eyeing a few things lately or want to try something new, now is the chance!! So, let’s get into what I think are some makeup must haves!

The Sephora Collection (Sephora branded) products only will be a whopping 30% off your purchase. The savings don’t stop there though… If you’re a Sephora Rouge member, you receive early access and 20% off your order. If you’re a VIB member, you’ll get access to the sale on Halloween (what a treat!!) and 15% off your order. Sephora Insiders will also get access to the sale on Halloween (10/31) and will receive 10% off their order! CODE: TIMETOSAVE

My cart right now is so full.. so we’ll start from the beginning with skin prep!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops $35

This lightweight gel formula minimizes dull skin, visibly brightens and delivers a bouncy glow! I use this product in my skin care routine weekly and absolutely love how my skin feels when using this and it works well under makeup!!

Glow Recipe BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops $32

I typically don’t use a primer under makeup, I feel like skin care, if it’s done correctly is THE ultimate primer for makeup! If I am feeling like mine or my clients pores are extra visible I’ll use this product to minimize pores and create a super flawless base!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Serum with Vitamin C $30

This anti-aging serum reduces the appearance of any dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles while brightening and plumping the skin. I love using this under makeup to create a smooth and hydrated base!

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base $67

This is my go-to moisturizer for most of my clients and it feels incredible on the skin! It is a really heavy duty performing moisturizer without the heavy, greasy or slippery effect. I love the way this sinks into the skin and really hydrates the face for the whole day! And, it smells fantastic!

Moving on to my must have foundations for all skin types! I am loving quite a few right now!

Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation $45

This is my personal go-to foundation at the moment! The way it sits on the skin and immediately blurs out any imperfections while also giving a radiant yet medium coverage finish. I have been wearing this daily, and typically on myself, I don’t even set it with powder because I love how much it looks like skin!!

Iconic London Radiance Complexion Booster $39

This is one of my face base must haves! It’s a super sheer formula that just adds a fresh faced and radiant glow to the skin. I typically will mix a few drops of this into any foundation that I’m using for an extra boost of radiance! It is also perfect to use as a tinted moisturizer!

Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation $50

Wow, I have been enamored with this foundation since I added it to my kit 3 years ago. It’s that good! The formulation works on almost all skin types and creates a really nice satin finish to the skin. It’s also medium coverage that can be built up to be a really smooth full coverage foundation for a full glam look!! If you’re looking for something for special events, weddings, parties, etc this is the perfect foundation for that!!

Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation $55

A new addition to the kit and this foundation has been stealing my heart! It is so glowy but doesn’t emphasize any fine lines or wrinkles and looks fabulous on mature skin as well! I gravitate toward a glowy or dewy foundation so that when it’s set with powder it will still look like skin! Matte just isn’t for me, but if it’s for you, you may not love this foundation! Luckily for you, they do have a Forever Matte version as well!! Happy shopping!

Onto the eyes…

Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Eyeshadow Palette $50

This palette has had me in a chokehold recently. It’s not a revolutionary palette, its matte shadows; but the formula, the pigmentation, the way they glide over the eye is just absolutely fabulous! I definitely feel like my matte looks have elevated since starting to use this palette!

Patrick Ta Major Dimensions III Eyeshadow Palette $70

Oooohh, this is another palette I can’t live without now. I know I didn’t need yet another all matte palette, but unlike the Makeup By Mario palette I listed above, these are half cool tones and half warm tones with two cream shades that make the perfect eyeshadow base!

Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Eyeshadow Palette $68

Makeup by Mario has been absolutely killing the makeup game lately. His products are superior quality and used by PRO makeup artist all over the world. The shimmers in this palette perform almost like eyeshadow shimmer toppers. They create a really effortless glossy lid effect on the eyes that really makes them pop and look ethereal! This is my go-to eyeshadow palette for brides!

Other makeup products that I cant live without…

Rare Beauty Positive Light Powder Highlight $25

If you are into blinding, seen from space, highlights then this is your girl! These highlights are insane in pigment and shine! I will say, I have been through 3 of them now because I’ve dropped them and shattered them beyond repair. They are SO soft and creamy that they break very easily, so be more gentle than me!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder $48

Ever since I picked up this powder, it replaced my Laura Mercier loose powder so fast and I’ve barely picked it up since. The powder is super fine and smooth and creates a really flawless look when applied under the eyes! My go-to for myself and clients alike!

Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb $42

I love this product! I reach for this the most when I’m creating a super sparkly eye look that needs a flush of glossy glitter and that wet lid look. I love applying this with my ring finger as a topper to the lid!

Milk Makeup Cream Bronzer $24

I adore this cream bronzer and it was one of the first ones I put into my professional kit. I know that cream products can be intimidating but it is so easy to blend and user friendly! I use the shade baked and it is perfect for contouring/bronzetouring.

Patrick Ta Major Headlines Powder & Creme Blush Duo $36

I love a good 2-in-1 makeup product, my girl math tells me I’m basically getting one for free. But that’s another story for another time. I love this blush duo because it’s so pigmented and they have amazing shades! Controversially, the creme can be used on top of the powder to pack a glowy punch! I have the shade ‘She’s that girl’ and its the perfect soft peachy pink shade!

So excited to see what you guys scoop at the Sephora Annual Sale this year! If you have any questions or just want to chat about beauty, I am always here and would love to!
